Renting a Check is easy like Sunday morning! All you need is the Check app.
E-moped/ e-scooter:
<ol>
<li> Open the Check app and select a vehicle.</li>
<li> The app navigates you to your reserved Check. If you are close (&lt;100 meters) you can unlock the scooter with your app. After unlocking, your ride begins.</li>
<li> Remove the scooter from the stand and press and hold the green button for 2 seconds.</li>
<li> You can now drive away - enjoy your ride!</li>
<li> When you have arrived at your destination, end your trip via the app. Fold out the side stand to park the Check.</li>
<li>Make sure that the parked Check does not cause any hindrance.</li>
</ol>
E-car:
<ol>
<li>Find and reserve a car nearby using the app.</li>
<li>Once you reach the car, press 'Start ride' in the app.</li>
<li>The car will automatically unlock, get behind the wheel.</li>
<li>Depress the brake and move the gear lever to drive.

<li>Enjoy the ride! </li>
<li>Return the car to its service area (same zone as pickup). End the ride via the app.

How does a trip start and end?

In most cities you can ride a Check 24/7. Only in Groningen and Zwolle, you can ride a Check between 06:00 in the morning and 01:00 at night.

During which hours can I use Check?

Netherlands
E- scooter: Check charges 33 cents per minute driving (15 cents pausing), with a starting fee of 1 euro.
E-car: Check charges 30 cents per minute (15 cents pausing), with a starting fee of 2 euros.
 
Per invoice, Check charges a 1.25 euro transaction fee. This does not apply to invoices of 0 euro and payments via NS Business Card and Shuttel.

How much does Check cost?

You can see the service area in your Check app. You can end a trip and park your Check anywhere within the parameters of the purple service area. Always park the Check responsibly so that it does not stand in the way of other people and help us keep the public space accessible for everyone.
Never park:
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">On private property;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">In front of an entrance or exit;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">On sidewalks;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">On tactile guidance strips;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">On parking spaces for cars;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">On the grass, and; </li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">Out of the staple bike rack </li>
</ul>
Do park:
<ul>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">In the designated parking spaces;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">In a way that the vehicle does not form an obstacle to other people;</li>
<li style="font-weight: 400;">As if it were your own vehicle :)</li>
</ul>

How do I park a Check?

Yes, every Check has insurance against liability. Therefore, damage caused by a Check vehicle to a third party is insured within the coverage of our insurance. Except for an own risk excess of €500 for mopeds, for cars €500 (&gt;24 yr) and €1000 (&lt;24 yr).
